Associate Buyer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Associate Buyer to join our ALDI National Buying team. As an Associate Buyer, you will collaborate with suppliers, support the Buying Director, and manage product life cycles. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, critical thinking abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple projects efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the product life cycle of a designated group of products under the guidance of the Buying Director.
• Request, organize, and manage product samples from suppliers.
• Provide recommendations based on market knowledge regarding commodities.
• Manage multiple projects by setting priorities, deadlines, and coordinating information flow.
• Collaborate with vendors to solve problems and address product issues.
• Utilize various computer applications for database management and reporting.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Business or related field required.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent knowledge.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
