Clinical Development Lead, Solid Tumor Oncology, BTC & GEA

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Clinical Development Lead specializing in Solid Tumor Oncology, particularly in BTC (Biliary Tract Cancer) and GEA (Gastroesophageal Adenocarcinoma). As part of our global biopharmaceutical company, you will lead the late-stage development and life-cycle management of a critical Oncology asset for BTC and GEA, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategic Clinical Development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the clinical development of BTC and GEA Oncology program in alignment with corporate goals.
• Develop and execute comprehensive Global clinical development plans, including study design and regulatory strategy.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless execution of clinical development programs.
• Oversee clinical trials, analyze data, and manage risks to drive successful outcomes.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to advance the oncology pipeline.
• Manage budget allocation and optimize resource planning.
• Foster a high-performance culture within the clinical development team.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in successfully leading Solid Tumor Oncology asset development through late-stage development to commercialization.
• Proven track record in leading high-performing clinical development teams.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex insights effectively.
• MD required, Board-certified Oncologist preferred; PhD is a plus.
• Clinical and/or development experience in solid tumor oncology, specifically BTC or Gastrointestinal cancers, is preferred.
