Community Bank President/Ag Lender

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Community Bank President/Ag Lender to join our team at Bank Iowa Corporation in Newton. In this role, you will be responsible for generating quality Ag and Commercial loans, representing Bank Iowa within the community, and leading a team of Relationship Managers and Loan Assistants. As a specialist in Ag and Commercial loans, you will build strong client relationships, promote the bank's visibility, and actively participate in civic and community activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the bank's values, culture, and strategic direction as the primary representative in the community.
• Drive community bank loan and deposit growth through business development activities.
• Manage an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio, fostering client retention and business growth.
• Collaborate with management on loan approvals within specified limits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, Economics, or related field with 7+ years of relevant lending and banking experience.
• Strong Agriculture background preferred.
• Supervisory and management experience required.
• Ideal candidates will have leadership, credit analysis, underwriting, and sales experience.
