Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Construction Cost Project Analyst to join our National Real Estate Services team at Aldi. As we strive to become one of the top U.S. grocery retailers, your role will be crucial in managing construction costs on a national level. Working closely with divisional teams, you will analyze construction bids and ensure cost alignment with project scopes and regional trends.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Construction Managers on negotiation points with contractors.
• Analyze bid data and provide detailed reports to facilitate project awards.
• Track pricing data and prepare regular reports for management.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose alternative construction methods.
• Conduct market pricing reviews and offer pricing forecasts.
• Assist in training and developing team members.
• Uphold document security and confidentiality.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction Estimating.
• Strong understanding of construction documents.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction cost software.
