Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
  • Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
  • Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous retail experience desired
