Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and neatly stock shelves.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining document security.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Able to maintain store cleanliness to company standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
  • Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail work experience beneficial.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
