Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and neatly stock shelves.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining document security.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Able to maintain store cleanliness to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience beneficial.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
