Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Your focus will be on enhancing the shopping experience for our customers through exceptional service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and support a positive shopping environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational improvements
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
  • Follow established policies and uphold document security
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
  • Capable of using store equipment and maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking
  • Familiarity with retail operations is a plus

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous
  • Educational background or relevant work experience
