Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of our store. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and collaborating effectively with our team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACTS Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and support customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to follow company standards for cleaning and organization.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet all state and local requirements for selling alcohol.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
