Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the Aldi team and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cashiering duties, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
  • Follow all company policies ensuring security and confidentiality.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
  • Capability to perform cleaning duties to company standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
