Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your dedication to exceptional customer service and collaboration with the ALDI team will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the relevant Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping visits
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and general store operations
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies
• Comply with company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
