Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Your focus on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the Aldi team will ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the company's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and established procedures.
• Comply with company policies while safeguarding document security and data confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Experience in retail and general cleaning preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
