Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's core values and competencies in daily tasks.
- Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise neatly.
- Assist customers during their shopping experience and communicate effectively with the team.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in monitoring stock levels.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures to uphold security standards.
- Follow company policies while safeguarding confidential information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and various equipment.
- Capable of general cleaning tasks and adhering to company policies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail work experience desired.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
