Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's core values and competencies in daily tasks.
  • Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise neatly.
  • Assist customers during their shopping experience and communicate effectively with the team.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in monitoring stock levels.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures to uphold security standards.
  • Follow company policies while safeguarding confidential information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficiently operate a cash register and various equipment.
  • Capable of general cleaning tasks and adhering to company policies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
  • Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail work experience desired.
  • Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
