Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and support customer shopping needs
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Follow cash handling policies and adhere to company procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain document security
- Perform physical tasks such as stocking and lifting up to 45 pounds
Qualifications
- Age requirement: 18 years or older
- Customer service skills and cash register proficiency
- Operational knowledge of equipment and cleaning standards
- Ability to interpret policies, communicate effectively, and work in a team environment
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol handling
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience advantageous
