Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team, demonstrate exceptional customer service, and ensure the store is organized and well-stocked.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures for secure transactions
• Follow company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality standards
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards
• Handle and sell alcoholic beverages complying with state and local regulations

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to operate a cash register and other store equipment efficiently
• Excellent communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
