Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized shopping environment. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with our team will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash management policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Adhere to company policies for document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Proficiency in customer service and cash register operation.
- Ability to use various equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Experience in general cleaning tasks and adherence to company standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
- Compliance with state and local regulations related to alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent, previous retail experience preferred.
- Combination of education and relevant experience.
