Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join ALDI's team. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming shopping environment. Your role will involve collaborating with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the overall shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACTS Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining document security.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Skilled in general cleaning tasks as per company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for the sale of alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
