Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, cashiering, stocking shelves, and maintaining the store's appearance. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate with store management
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts

Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register
  • Operate equipment safely and effectively
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work well independently and in a team environment
  • Attention to detail, ability to multi-task
  • Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
