Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate our core values and competencies in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
• Assist customers in their shopping experience and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company procedures and maintain security and confidentiality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 45 pounds and perform physical tasks around the store.
• Regular standing, bending, reaching, and carrying out store duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
• Proficiency in providing courteous customer service and operating a cash register.
• Skilled in using store equipment and maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to company policies.
• Compliance with state and local regulations on alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
