Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a vital part of the store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling procedures and company policies to uphold security standards.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store cleanliness.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register.
  • Safely operate equipment like electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler.
  • Experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team setting.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
