Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the overall store cleanliness. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, stocking shelves, assisting customers with their shopping experience, and collaborating effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their needs
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Participate in inventory counts, monitor inventory accuracy, and report any issues
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow company policies, uphold security measures, and maintain confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
• Perform cleaning duties to company standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
