Director Toxicology

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Director of Toxicology to manage global nonclinical regulatory and investigative toxicology for assigned portfolio products. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to support the overall nonclinical regulatory strategy from research through registration. The Director will lead toxicology studies, interpret data, prepare regulatory documents, and provide expertise to ensure program success.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and manage direct reports in toxicology.
• Design, monitor, and report on toxicology studies at external CROs.
• Provide input on drug development strategy and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to cross-functional teams and departmental processes.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Biochemistry, or Biology.
• 8-10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in drug development toxicology.
• Expertise in FDA, EMA, and ICH guidance, GLP regulations, and regulatory submissions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
