Director Toxicology

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly qualified Director of Toxicology to manage the global nonclinical regulatory and investigative toxicology of assigned Jazz portfolio products. The Director, Toxicology will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the overall global nonclinical regulatory strategy, from research to registration and beyond. Reporting to the Head of Toxicology, the ideal candidate will have experience in toxicology studies, regulatory compliance, and drug development programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage direct reports in overseeing toxicology studies.
• Design, conduct, and monitor toxicology studies at external CROs.
• Prepare nonclinical sections for regulatory submissions ensuring compliance.
• Provide toxicology expertise in cross-functional teams and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or related field with 8-10 years of industry experience.
• Experience in small and large molecules, oncology, and CNS indications preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA, EMA, and ICH regulations and authoring regulatory documents.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
