District Manager - Greater Watertown NY Region

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated, experienced District Manager to join ALDI and oversee the operations of our stores in the Greater Watertown NY Region. As a District Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a team, drive sales growth, and make a significant impact on our global organization. This permanent position offers a starting salary of $95,000 with a signing bonus of $5,000 and additional increases over the years. You will be responsible for managing store operations, developing action plans, training and developing staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess and establish appropriate staffing levels for stores.
• Develop and implement action plans to improve store operations.
• Lead and motivate staff to achieve performance goals.
• Ensure adherence to company merchandising plans and pricing strategies.
• Coordinate recruitment, training, and development of store personnel.
• Manage inventory procedures, cash control, and operational customer concerns.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members and leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and staff management.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
