Job Description
Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced Executive Director for Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations to lead the execution and delivery of our Oncology Phase 1-3 pipeline. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in solid tumor clinical development, strategic operational planning, project cost estimations, and global regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a high-performing clinical team, ensure project goals are met on time and on budget, and foster effective internal and external relationships.
Responsibilities
- Direct all operational aspects of the late-stage oncology clinical development pipeline.
- Assure accuracy and appropriateness of clinical research budgets and timelines.
- Influence development teams to enable high-quality clinical trial protocols and plans.
- Analyze and address issues with investigational sites, CRAs, and CROs.
- Provide mentorship to staff, set aligned goals, and manage high-performing clinical teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum of fifteen years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in oncology clinical research and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of clinical operations and trial technology.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
