Brief Description:

The Executive Director, Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations will lead a team responsible for executing and delivering our Oncology Phase 1-3 pipeline. This role requires extensive knowledge in solid tumor clinical development, including strategic planning, cost estimations, global experience, companion diagnostics, competitive landscape, and collaboration with industry key opinion leaders (KOLs). Expertise in HER2 positive clinical research is preferred.

Additionally, the Executive Director must possess a deep understanding of ICH/GCP requirements, foster effective internal and external relationships, ensure project goals are met on time and within budget, oversee staff development, and manage finances. This position will be part of the Global Clinical Development Operations (GCDO) leadership team.

Essential Functions:

  • Direct all operational aspects of the Jazz late-stage oncology clinical development pipeline.
  • Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of clinical research budgets and timelines.
  • Provide mentorship to staff and build high-performing teams.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure operational excellence.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Minimum 15 years of industry experience with at least 10 years in oncology.
  • Strong communication skills, in-depth knowledge of clinical research, regulatory understanding, business acumen, negotiation skills, and clinical operations expertise.
  • Proficiency in metrics, KPIs, clinical trial technology, and innovation strategies.

Required/Preferred Education and Licenses:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices, providing competitive total compensation packages. The full base pay range for this role is $256,000-$384,000, subject to individual qualifications and factors.
