Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join Aldi's team. In this role, you will assist with key store management responsibilities, supervise daily activities, ensure overall store performance, manage schedules, and implement operational strategies. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in team development and growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to enhance operating results.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
- Monitor the competitive environment to maintain the company's position.
- Provide product feedback and recommendations.
- Participate in the interviewing process and ensure inventory and cash control compliance.
- Ensure store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and merchandising standards.
- Lead and supervise the team, ensuring effective completion of responsibilities.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service.
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Operational and budget management skills.
- Cash register and equipment operation proficiency.
- Organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Prior retail experience and management skills.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 3 years progressive retail experience. Prior management experience is a plus.
