Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, developing operational plans, managing schedules, and identifying training opportunities to enhance the team's performance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall store performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve store operations.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback to enhance store competitiveness.
  • Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies compliance.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and quality of products.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience in interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
  • Prior retail management experience preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive retail experience.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
