Full Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, stocking products, and maintaining a clean store environment to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Follow company policies while upholding document and data security
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient and accurate cash register operation
• Safe operation of equipment
• Ability to maintain cleanliness based on company standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Meet local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Educational background or relevant experience
