Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. From merchandising to cashiering, your responsibilities will contribute to our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by aiding customers during their shopping journey.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Assist with store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash policies and company procedures to minimize discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company policies, uphold security measures, and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18.
- Proficient in delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
- Ability to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Skilled in operating equipment such as hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
- Capable of meeting cleanliness standards and following company policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and within a team, staying organized and detail-oriented.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
