Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store, and working collaboratively with the ALDI team to enhance the shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (MAP).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and store issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accurate stock monitoring.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to perform general cleaning tasks according to standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
