Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring efficient operations. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with the ALDI team and contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory issues, and other store matters.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures to maintain document security and confidentiality.
- Complete assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safe operation of store equipment.
- Capability to maintain cleanliness to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages as per local laws.
