Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store activities such as stocking merchandise, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain a neat store appearance, and assist customers
• Work closely with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Implement inventory control measures and provide feedback to improve store operations
• Adhere to cash handling policies, company procedures, and security protocols

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in providing courteous customer service and operating a cash register
• Able to handle equipment like hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers
• Capable of meeting physical demands such as stocking shelves and lifting up to 45 pounds
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
