Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store tasks such as merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills) consistently
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Conduct store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and adhere to company procedures
- Comply with established company policies, procedures, and security measures
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safely operate equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Excellent communication skills
- Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
