Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a key role in ensuring the store maintains an optimal shopping environment for customers. From merchandising and stocking products to cashiering and maintaining cleanliness, your contributions will enhance the overall customer experience. Collaborating with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist in inventory management, and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide superior customer service and communicate effectively with team members
• Offer feedback on products and inventory, support store management, and ensure cash handling compliance
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring document security and confidentiality

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise and lift items up to 45 pounds
• Perform various physical tasks such as bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operations
• Adequate knowledge in safety and equipment operation
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask efficiently
• Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
