Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, merchandise is stocked, and customers receive exceptional service. You will collaborate with team members and management to create a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and customer issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash management policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies while maintaining document security.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of performing cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team or independently.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
