Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your primary responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall store appearance. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
• Report product issues, inventory discrepancies, and operational concerns to management
• Participate in inventory counts according to guidelines
• Follow cash handling policies and uphold company procedures
• Comply with all company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficiency in cash register operation and equipment handling
• Experience in retail or equivalent environment preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Capability to work independently and in a team setting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fulfill state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales
