Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your exceptional customer service skills and collaborative attitude will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Comply with company policies while ensuring document security and data confidentiality
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate a cash register efficiently
- Competent in using various equipment as required
- Capable of following company standards for cleaning and organization
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
- A combination of education and experience is considered
