Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to improve store performance.
- Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Follow company policies, uphold security measures, and complete assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks.
- Perform general cleaning duties according to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
