Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store operations run smoothly and our customers receive exceptional service. This position involves merchandising, cashiering, stocking, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store.

Position Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain product displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Report product feedback, inventory issues, and participate in store inventory counts
• Follow cash policies, company procedures, and uphold document security and confidentiality
• Perform general cleaning duties and ensure the store meets company standards

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Adherence to company policies, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail
• Capability to work independently and in a team environment
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Prior retail experience (preferred)
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
