Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and well-organized. You will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating with the Aldi team.

Job Type

• Position: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver courteous customer service
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Skilled in general cleaning to maintain store standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
