Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a full-time team member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store maintains a welcoming environment for our customers. From merchandising and stocking products to cashiering and maintaining cleanliness, you will contribute to delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and assist in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses
- Follow company policies and uphold document security
- Perform general cleaning duties to meet company standards
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18
- Proficient in operating a cash register, equipment, and following procedures
- Ability to provide courteous customer service and work efficiently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Prior retail experience is a plus
