Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store duties including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with team members, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies, upholding document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and can multi-task effectively.
- Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
