Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include stocking merchandise, cashiering, general cleaning, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Assist customers, collaborate with team members, and communicate effectively with management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Comply with company policies, uphold security measures, and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of following company policies and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales (if applicable).
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
