Full Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Your dedication to exceptional customer service and teamwork will contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers in their experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safe and proper equipment handling.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
