Job Description
As a Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a key role in ensuring the store maintains its standards of merchandising, customer service, and cleanliness. You'll collaborate with the Aldi team to create an exceptional shopping experience for customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties and stock shelves with accuracy
- Assist and provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience
- Collaborate effectively with team members and store management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills
- Efficient cash register operation
- Ability to operate store equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
