Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive customer shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a well-functioning store environment.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash policies.
• Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring document security.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• General cleaning abilities to maintain company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meets requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
