Job Description
As a Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide top-notch customer service and contribute to a positive work environment.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with shopping needs
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Conduct store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies and uphold company procedures
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of interpreting and applying company policies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Prior retail experience preferred
