Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. By collaborating with our team and providing exceptional customer service, you will contribute to the overall success of our store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document and data security.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and various equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask professionally.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
