Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping environment for our customers. You will work collaboratively with the Aldi team and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Report feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Comply with company policies and procedures for security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe operation of equipment
• Adherence to cleaning standards
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience preferred
