Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's success by performing various tasks related to merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Your contribution will directly impact the customer shopping experience and help uphold our commitment to exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) expected for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in scheduled store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize financial discrepancies.
- Adhere to company policies, safeguard sensitive data, and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient operation of a cash register and various equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning duties up to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.
- Compliance with state and local regulations on alcohol handling and sales.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
